Scan. Index. Analyze.
MineScan is a continuously running Minecraft server scanner that collects publicly available server metadata and exposes it through a fast, developer-friendly REST API.
What MineScan Is
MineScan uses a custom Minecraft protocol scanner to discover and index publicly reachable Minecraft servers.
As of January 2026, the scanner performs a standard server status request to read publicly exposed information such as server version, MOTD, and player counts. A minimal login-start probe is then sent to observe how the server responds, allowing MineScan to classify the server as running in online mode, offline mode, or whitelist mode.
No real player session is established, no authentication is attempted, and the connection is closed immediately after the response is received.
